Diving in the lagoon of Mayotte is like diving in one of the largest lagoons in the world. There is a particularly abundant coral fauna: parrots, surgeons, moray eels, butterfly fish, fish or even king mackerel, jacks, schools of dog-toothed tunas as well as green scaly turtles. The relief is also very varied: from drop offs to canyons formed by long faults and progressive slopes to coral potatoes. You will certainly have the opportunity to observe many species of dolphins present all year round and perhaps even humpback whales.
